Charlie Meyer is a MA student of English and Folklore Studies at George Mason University. They are currently a Graduate Research Assistant at the Institute for Immigration Research (IIR) and has had the opportunity to work on a project that involves collecting stories from Mason faculty and staff.
Charlie completed their BA in English, Writing for the Workplace with a Concentration in Folklore Studies at Fairmont State University in 2022. While there, they worked at the Frank and Jane Gabor West Virginia Folklife Center where they were able to collect and share stories from members of the Fairmont community.
