April 8th -- Immigrant Writers in the US: New American Voices Award Winners Share Their Stories
This iWeek, the Institute for Immigration Research and Fall for the Book will be hosting a webinar on Thursday, April 8 from 1:00-2:00pm Eastern.

Storytelling is an important tool that can educate people about immigrants and immigration. On this webinar, three past winners of the Institute for Immigration Research New American Voices Award will share how they draw from their own experiences to tell beautiful, complex stories about immigrants' lives in the US.

Fall for the Book and the Institute for Immigration Research created the New American Voices Award in 2018 to recognize a recently published book that illuminates the complexity of human experience as told by immigrants, whose work is historically underrepresented in writing and publishing.
