Institute for Immigration Research (IIR) Director Dr. James Witte appeared on the latest episode of the JobMakers Podcast. Dr. Witte spoke to host Denzil Mohammed about the challenges of disseminating facts about U.S. immigration to the public in the midst of rampant misinformation and disinformation.
The IIR’s mission is to produce valid, reliable, and objective multidisciplinary research on immigrants and immigration and to disseminate this information to a variety of audiences. But immigration is a complex and emotional issue, making it difficult to get the facts out.
JobMakers is a weekly podcast produced by the Pioneer Institute and the Immigrant Learning Center. The podcast explores the world of risk-taking immigrants who create new products, services, and jobs in New England and across the United States.
