PSA Monthly Brown Bag Series
Increased and Diminished Freedoms: Divergent Experiences during COVID-19
Monday, October 30, 2023 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM EDT
Online Location
The Monthly Brown Bag Series is a new initiative of the PSA, and it serves as a space for early career scholars and students in sociology to present their research and practice in a low-stakes capacity. This is a multi-institutional event, and it is a great opportunity to learn about new research, network with other scholars and students, gain presentation experience, and receive feedback.
The theme for October is “Increased and Diminished Freedoms: Divergent Experiences during COVID-19” and will feature speakers Bobbie Straughter (University of South Florida and Emma Vetter (George Mason University).
