The Institute for Immigration Research (IIR) offers a limited number of undergraduate and graduate research assistantships, fellowships, and internships.

Academic Year 2024-2025: Graduate Research Assistantships

The IIR is accepting applications until February 19, 2024 for a Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) position for the 2024-2025 academic year. 

The successful candidate’s areas of interest will include immigration, economic, social and political consequences of migration, immigrant experiences, and the overall issues related to immigration policy. 

This position includes hands-on research experience, training, mentorship, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and opportunities to strengthen understandings of immigration data and policies. This position is critical to the success of the IIR and requires exceptionalism professionalism, a strong work ethic, and commitment to and active participation in fulfilling the mission of the IIR.
