The Institute for Immigration Research (IIR) serves as a gateway for immigration research at George Mason University. This includes a commitment to educating and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students and emerging scholars.

Migration and Immigration Courses

The Institute for Immigration Research (IIR) regularly compiles information about migration and immigration-related course offerings at George Mason University. 

In addition to courses offered each semester, which are highlighted below, the Arlington Fellows Migration Policy and Advocacy program is a flexible 15-credit academic program for selected students interested in immersing themselves in the complex issues of migration right here in Northern Virginia.
