IIR Migration Working Group - February

The Working Group is an informal space where students and faculty discuss early-stage migration research projects.

Wednesday, February 7, 2024 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM EST

Join us on February 7th to discuss research from:

  • Ayman Habib, Institute for Immigration Research OSCAR Research Assistant and Undergraduate in Global Affairs, George Mason University
  • Dr. Steve Harris-Scott, Academic Director, INTO George Mason and Institute for Immigration Research Faculty Affiliate

The Institute for Immigration Research (IIR) Migration Working Group is an informal space that brings together students and faculty across levels and departments. The aim of the Migration Working Group is to provide students and faculty opportunities to workshop and receive feedback on early-stage projects and works in progress, share our migration research, and learn with one another to strengthen our research projects.

We will meet once a month for one hour in a hybrid format. Each meeting will include informal project briefs and/or presentations to share and discuss emerging migration-related projects.
