Visit IIR's table at the George Mason International Week event!

Tuesday, April 1, 2025 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM EDT
Wilkins Plaza

The IIR will be hosting a table at International Week on April 1st in Wilkins Plaza. Please drop by, enjoy some trivia, and learn about how you can participate in our upcoming research projects.

In partnership with Fairfax County, the Institute for Immigration Research (IIR) will implement a research project that aims to examine not only Fairfax County foreign-born residents’ positive economic contributions, skill sets, educational background, and community and civic engagement, but also the challenges that all residents face in the community.

If you interested in part-time employment working on the project in the summer as a translator or interviewer, please contact Dr. Marissa Kiss at mkiss@gmu.edu.
