A Conversation with the Authors: Recent Books Published about Migration & Displacement
Wednesday, March 4, 2026 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM EST
Merten Hall, 1204
Join us for a timely conversation with Mason authors whose recent books examine migration and displacement across global, historical, and lived contexts. Through an engaging panel discussion, the authors will reflect on the motivations behind their books, key findings from their research, and the broader social, political, and human implications of migration today. Topics will include displacement and belonging, state policies and borders, gender and family dynamics, and the everyday experiences of migrant and displaced communities.
Following the moderated discussion, there will be time for audience questions and dialogue.
The event is free and open to students, faculty, researchers, practitioners, and community members.
