This summer, the Institute for Immigration Research [IIR] at George Mason University is hosting a series of events focusing on immigration. The “IIR Spotlight on Immigration” aims to start a dialogue about U.S. immigration and immigrant’s contribution to the U.S. economy. Set on a monthly schedule starting in June and ending in August of 2013, the series will host a variety of events from movie showings to student-centered presentations on the issues at hand.
Join us on Wednesday July 10, 2013 as we host Erik Josephson, from George Mason University's Anthropology Dept. discussing how first generation of Salvadorans transmit their home culture to the second generation.
This event is held at the Johnson Center, Room 239A.
