One High School, One School Year, Five New Americans
Join us on October 14, 2014, 12:00-2:00 PM at the Johnson Center Cinema (GMU Fairfax Campus) as we screen the documentary film "I Learn America". The documentary follows five recently arrived students, with various legal statuses, over a year in an American high school where they encounter everything from learning a new language to social pressure and visa uncertainties, to name a few.
"I Learn America" Producer Jean-Michel Dissard will join us for a brief Q&A after the screening.
