The Institute for Immigration Research (IIR) Migration Working Group is an informal space that brings together students and faculty across levels and departments. The aim of the Migration Working Group is to provide students and faculty opportunities to workshop and receive feedback on early-stage projects and works in progress, share our migration research, and learn with one another to strengthen our research projects.
The IIR Migration Working Group meets online once a month for one hour. Each meeting includes informal project briefs and/or presentations to share and discuss emerging migration-related projects.
Join us on November 12th when we will discuss research from:
- Kellie S. Wilkerson, Institute for Immigration Research Graduate Research Assistant and PhD Candidate, Department of Sociology and Anthropology, George Mason University
- Dr. Sandip K. Sureka, Institute for Immigration Research Postdoctoral Research Fellow, George Mason University
