Sandip Sureka is the Shrivastava Family Graduate Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Immigration Research at the Institute for Immigration Research (IIR). Sandip Sureka earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Iowa State University. His dissertation titled Three Essays on Migration studies factors affecting migration decisions and the implications of migration policy on the flow of undocumented and low-skilled temporary immigrant workers.
Prior to joining IIR, Sandip Sureka taught economics at Cornell College. His research interest includes international migration, labor economics, undocumented immigrants, and temporary guest workers. He uses econometric and experimental techniques in his research.
